Connect Your IRC Client to Eggy BNC
Client-by-client setup guide

Use these details in every client
Code:
Server: bnc.eggy.net
Port: 5000
TLS/SSL: Enabled
Combined login: username/network:password
Separate fields: username/network + Eggy BNC password

The network name must exactly match Eggy BNC. Do not use the remote IRC hostname or your NickServ password.

mIRC — Windows
Code:
/server -m bnc.eggy.net +5000 username/network:password
The plus sign enables TLS.

HexChat — Windows/Linux
Open Network List > Add > Edit. Add bnc.eggy.net/5000, enable SSL/TLS and put the combined login in Server password.

AdiIRC — Windows
Open Server List > Add. Enter the server and port, enable SSL, then save the combined login as the server password.

KVIrc — Windows/Linux/macOS
Open Settings > Configure Servers. Create a network, add the Eggy server on port 5000, enable SSL and enter the combined password.

Konversation — Linux
Open File > Server List > New. Add the hostname and port, enable SSL and enter the combined login as the server password.

Quassel IRC — Windows/Linux/macOS
Open Settings > Configure Quassel > Networks > Add. Add the secure server. Use username/network and your Eggy password in separate fields.

WeeChat — Terminal
Code:
/server add eggy bnc.eggy.net/5000 -tls
/set irc.server.eggy.password "username/network:password"
/connect eggy

irssi — Terminal
Add bnc.eggy.net:5000 as a TLS server, assign it to a network and save the combined login as its server password.

Textual — macOS/iOS
Choose Add Server, enter the hostname and port, enable secure connection and use the combined login or separate ZNC fields.

LimeChat — macOS/iOS
Create a server profile, enter the Eggy server and port, enable SSL and add the combined login under Server Password.

Revolution IRC — Android
Tap + > Add Network. Enter the hostname and port, enable SSL/TLS and put the combined login in the server-password field.

IRCCloud — Web/mobile
Choose Add a network, open advanced settings, enter the server and port, enable SSL and use the combined login as the server password.

The Lounge — Web
Choose Add Network. Set server, port and TLS. Use username/network as Username and your Eggy password separately.

Kiwi IRC — Web
Open connection settings, select a custom server, enter bnc.eggy.net:5000, enable TLS and enter the combined login.

Other IRC clients
Use username/network:password for one password field. With separate fields, use username/network and your Eggy password.

Never connect to port 5000 without TLS/SSL.
