Welcome to the Eggy RPG support forum.

This area is for support, bug reports, questions, suggestions and general discussion relating specifically to the Eggy RPG XenForo add-on.

Before creating a new thread, please read the information below. Providing useful information makes problems much easier to reproduce, diagnose and fix.

Getting support​

If something is not working as expected, please include as much relevant information as possible.

• Your Eggy RPG version
• Your XenForo version
• What you were trying to do
• What you expected to happen
• What actually happened
• Any error message shown
• Screenshots or a short screen recording where useful
• Whether the problem affects desktop, mobile or both
• Clear steps that reproduce the problem

Please avoid reports such as "combat is broken" or "this doesn't work" without any additional information. Even a few reproduction steps can make a major difference when investigating an issue.

Server errors​

If XenForo records a server error relating to Eggy RPG, please include the relevant error details or stack trace with your report.

Do not publicly post passwords, API keys, payment credentials, database credentials or other private server information.

Gameplay bugs​

Bug reports are welcome for any part of the RPG, including:

• Character creation and appearances
• Movement and world maps
• Combat
• HP, Mana and Energy regeneration
• Enemies and loot
• Inventory and equipment
• Quests
• NPCs and dialogue
• Storylines
• Crafting
• Parties and party combat
• Shops
• Marketplace and auctions
• Daily rewards
• World events and bosses
• Achievements and collectibles
• RPG chat
• Other gameplay systems

If a bug involves a particular item, enemy, NPC, quest or location, please include its name.

Admin CP problems​

You can also report problems with the Eggy RPG administration tools.

Please mention which Admin CP section you were using and what action caused the problem.

This includes configuration for enemies, items, classes, locations, quests, NPCs, storylines, loot, combat balancing, player management, currencies, audio, events and other RPG systems.

Feature requests and suggestions​

Suggestions are welcome.

If you have an idea for Eggy RPG, explain what you would like added and, where possible, how you imagine it working from both the player and administrator side.

Not every suggestion will necessarily be implemented, but useful ideas and community feedback are always appreciated.

Custom development​

If you require functionality specifically developed for your own community, custom development requests are available separately through the Eggy Add-ons store where offered for the product.

Please use this forum for normal support and general feature suggestions rather than posting private paid-development requirements publicly.

Modified installations​

You are welcome to explain modifications you have made to your own installation, but please mention them when reporting a problem if they could be relevant.

Issues caused by third-party modifications, manual database changes or edits to Eggy RPG core files may require additional investigation.

Updates​

When reporting an issue, please check that you are using a current Eggy RPG release where possible.

Older releases may already have had the reported problem corrected in a later version.

One issue per thread​

Where practical, please create a separate thread for unrelated problems.

This makes individual bugs easier to investigate, track and mark as resolved.

Security issues​

Please do not publicly post details of a suspected security vulnerability or exploitable issue.

Use the private support/contact method instead so the issue can be investigated without exposing other installations.

Finally​

Eggy RPG is actively developed and feedback from people actually using it on XenForo communities is extremely useful.

Bug reports, suggestions and constructive feedback are always welcome.
